The worst experience ever. 2 days ago I wanted to order 10 Mutton handi Biryani for a birthday party. But they clearly said that chicken biryani is available, but they couldn't serve mutton. After making us wait for another 30 minutes, they served 10 handis of rotten chicken biryani (Rs.160/- each), with burnt chicken pieces, sour salty masala rice and some orange coloured potato pieces. Those handis were not even full with rice. Nobody could finish even half of that thing. We have never expected such unprofessional behavior from this place. I will never ever recommend this restaurant to any of my friends or family. Really disappointed. How can a the restaurant serve such poor quality food in this huge number!!

Awesome quality food. First and probably the only restaurant in Sonarpur with 'Hundi Biriyani'. One of the best biriyani in Sonarpur and that too at a reasonable price especially the 'Mutton biriyani'. The meat portion was absolutely outstanding as you get a piece of meat weighing almost 130-140 grams in a normal hundi biriyani and rice that can easily serve 2 persons. One must try the 'Mutton hundi biriyani' as the meat is very well cooked and it's softness is better than that of many other branded restaurants. The starters are also great especially the 'Chicken tikka kebab'. They do have both dine in and takeaway facility and one can also avail a free home delivery to their doorstep as I did. Overall, it was a splendid experience for me and will surely come back for those mouthwatering and extremely delicious dishes.

Royal is very popular for its Hundi Biriyani. I took Hundi chicken Biriyani and chicken chaap in which Hundi biriyani contains two pieces of chicken and a good quantity of rice . Rice was really good and chicken pieces of both items were tender and well cooked. They give boiled egg and Aloo too. The price is quite reasonable as per quantity. However, sometimes the taste of biriyani changes due to various reasons. There is also a restaurant in another name where one can get biriyani . It will be beside SONARPUR -KAMALGAZI STATION ROAD near MISSION PALLY MORE.

A best and standard place for biriyani at sonarpur is ROYAL RESTAURANT AND CATERER. They serve kolkata style biriyani . Their biriyani's taste is freaking good fr. From the pice of chicken to the rice and aluu everything is amazing , and the aroma of metha atar and gulab water doubles the taste of their biriyani..
