Great breakfast while staying at Taj chia. Service at this restaurant is amazing. Food was great. We ate dosa, uthapams, poha and omlettes here. They have fresh fruit juice bar as well along with typical pastries and breakfast cereals.

We went to have lunch at chia verandah. The ambiance of the place is amazing. They have an outdoor as well as indoor sitting space. We went to Darjeeling during off season, so probably that's why the place was very quiet, with a few more guests. The food is amazing. And the service too. We tried the Thupka and momos of the local cuisine, and the chilli garlic fried rice and sauteed vegetables. Everything was great. We also had the tiramisu which was very tasty.

We had dinner at chia last night, three of us caught food poisoning, uneasiness the whole night and vomits in the morning. Didn't expect it from Taj properties restaurants. We booked a buffet meal which was unavailable and they provided alacarte which took good 2.5 hours of ordering and waiting game. The chef met us next day morning with any special requests to cook but we couldn't eat anything because of stomach ache which has turned into fever for me.

We spent 3 days at Chia. It is a beautiful property with great views. The architecture blends in so well with the surroundings. The architect has showed immense sensitivity to the environment. We found it to be quite self contained. A great place to unwind with great service, aesthetics and facilities.
