Mitra Cafe is an absolute legend when it comes to Kolkata food vibes! The place may be small and simple, but the taste is unmatched. Their fish fry, mutton kabiraji, and chicken cutlet are just iconic -- crispy on the outside, juicy and flavorful inside. Pure nostalgia on a plate! They make everything perfect like a mother's touch It's usually crowded, but that just shows how loved it is. If you're in North Kolkata and haven't eaten here yet, you're seriously missing out. A must-visit for every foodie, especially if you want a true taste of old-school Bengali snacks nd foods.

Located close to the street and the seating in the front side is congested and a bit . There is another room inside but it seems like it's reserved for regular customers etc. Tried a baby fish and a chicken cutlet. The service was good and both the items were bought fresh and hot and tasted good.

It was our second time visit but the service was not good. We understand it was crowded and people were waiting outside but the person who asked us to leave was very rude. Food was OK OK. Do not try their mutton egg devil. It was sweet.

Decent quality of food according to its price range. We ordered Chicken Chowmin and Fish Batter Fry, both were tasty. Overall in terms of food it's a thumbs up However, it is worth noting that some items on the menu may seem somewhat overpriced. The staffs here seemed well trained and maintained a professional level. In terms of decoration and atmosphere, it's very good. It's a well decorated thematic place. Overall it's also a double thumbs up from me Overall I'm happy to give them 4 stars

The atmosphere here is overhyped. People come here for the authentic old cafe experience but you won't get it here. On top of that the food is too overpriced.
