I think the price of the food is a bit high compared to the quality. I had an egg thali here which cost 70 rs and one day I had chhola bhatura which I thought was a fair price and it cost 60 rs. Overall it's good. If you want simple lunch then you can go there.
I had chole bhature. It was not worth the money. They make food at an unclean place. As, a vegetarian how can I eat an insect? Yes, I got an insect in my food. The food was so oily that you cannot neglect it. I'm just sharing my experience and not discouraging anyone to come here. Who knows?...you might get another insect in your food.
Located below the Kalidas auditorium. A wide range of cold drinks and packet namkeen are available. The location is very good. Enough space is available for seating in the loan. Tea, coffee, hot snacks like samosa, vada, etc. are also available. Overall, a nice place for chit-chat.
Canteen in the ramnuthan complex of iit,kgp. Just opposite to the computer Nd informatics centre. Well known for its breakfast kachori and ghugni. Wide range of cold drinks ,lassi are also available. Tea, coffee and snacks of Rao's kitchen give refreshment to the research scholars and professors.
Very nice chole bhature.. And it's the place that can be chosen for having lunch when you don't have enough break time to go to the hostel for lunch and come back again to college.. Prices are affordable.. Full dish (Thali) is also available here
