Pachu Gopal, Kanchrapara - More About the Memories Than the Meals
When I used to visit Kanchrapara, Pachu Gopal was one of those go-to places. I've been there many times--with my husband, sister-in-laws, and family. We had some great times together, but honestly... the food didn't live up to the moments.
I tried their biriyani--wasn't impressed. Other dishes too... just average. For the price they charge, I expected better quality and taste.
Still, the memories are special--sitting together, laughing, chatting. So while the food didn't win me over, the place is part of my Kanchrapara story.
2 stars for food, extra half-star for the memories!

I ordered 1 plate of chicken chaap and 1 plate of dum biryani both are like ewww , the chaap was sweet and so dry Nd when it comes to the rice of biriyani bro...... believe me this is not biriyani after they served me plane boiled rice with boiled chicken and egg overall experience is just ahhhhhh

The food we had enjoyed at diner time. We had oder Aloo Dom Biriyani and Mutton kosha . It was very delicious taste with great quality specially Mutton Kosha ( Recommend to all ) had Unique test . one plate mutton kosha were enough for 2 person.Good and friendly atmosphere and service system is too good.
2nd time I ordered one plate mutton Biriyani,one Plain Basanti Polao and Mutton kosa for home

I rarely write reviews, but the behavior of the staff here was extremely disappointing. From the moment we entered, they were rude, unprofessional, and made us feel unwelcome. Instead of being attentive, they seemed irritated. Even the worst part is when I complained about that the owner was not even bothered. I can't say about their food because I haven't consumed any food from their.Though good food or ambiance can never make up for disrespectful treatment. I would not recommend this place until they seriously improve their staff's attitude toward customers. Thank you for treating us like that. Atleast now we know that where not to go for dinner.

We ordered Butter Nun (20), Paneer Butter Masala (220), Steam Rice (90) & Half Kasha Mutton (210). Literally these are so fantastic & mouthwatering combination I've ever tried over here. Softy butter nun with Paneer Butter Masala ahh that was just truly excellent combo & steam rice along with Mutton Kasha I mean I felt like heaven. Both the items were well cooked & so perfect in terms of taste or spiciness or flavour or whatever I mean it's highly recommended for you all.
