We ordered fried rice, chilli chicken, and butter tandoori roti. The portion size for the chilli chicken was quite good, but the fried rice felt a bit less in quantity. The roti was really nice and tasty. Prices are on the mid to slightly higher side, but overall the food quality and taste were satisfying.
I recently revisited 9X9 restaurant in Bolpur after nine years, this time with my two younger brothers. We enjoyed a delicious meal that included Masala Kulcha, Butter Naan, Steamed Rice, and Masala Chicken, all of which were satisfying. We also indulged in cappuccino and Thumbs Up to round off our visit. I'm pleased to say that the bill was still reasonable, and the service remains efficient and friendly. It was a delightful experience that brought back fond memories!
We had dinner at this place during our last visit to Santiniketan. While scrolling through the nearby places, suddenly found it and thought of going there. Ordered chinese rice, noodles, side dishes etc items, tandoori roti too. Taste was good actually, the taste of the various sauces were prominent throughout the dishes. Do not take Schezwan item if you're not that much used to with extra heavy spicy food. Just one small issue we had, we ordered one Chinese fish side dish, not sure it was delivered as chicken and we found that there was 1 piece less also, they acknowledged and also given us one piece, but when tasted that piece it was actually fish, which we realized that may be they wrongly given Chicken instead of fish. Anyways, the taste was really good for all the dishes. Also, the behaviour of the staff was also good. April, 2025
We came here almost daily while our stay here. The staff is extremely co-operative. The food is delicious and they have a variety of options across cuisines. Highly recommend it to everyone who is looking to have an ideal affordable meal.
