Came here back after 5 yrs last time I came here in 2021 just after Covid on a Rainy Day... At that time Ambiance was nice and food had only Chinese menu mainly it was ok ok type.. BUT.. it has blossomed as a full grown LOTUS, THE Ambience has become 4/5 Food is just awesome 5/5... service is also quite swift and apt 5/5.. It's Highly recommend must go if you go to strand / Chandanagar had: 1. Fish Orly : 1 plate consisted of 4 such.. which was adequately juicy.. and battery. 2. Mutton biryani bengali style: Nice adequate for 1 person.. with a nice aroma tp ghee.. & the is something to be felt / tasted.. can't be explained in words. O yes and there was raita too.. 3. Kacha Lanka Murghi : It sered as a good companion of Mutton Biryani... With a shuttle taste of kancha lanka whose spicy has been well kept in control with a piece of Jalapeno to bring everything together...

Awesome ambiance. Hot and tasty food supplied maintaining hygiene protocols. Had lunch here third time. This time we have ordered tandoori pomfret fish which was excellent. Size and quality of the fish was nice. Also we had steamed rice. Sorshe Bhetki, Polaw and bengali styled Mutton curry. For vegetarians we choose Kofta and Paneer. All was fantastic. Upper deck we reserved.

Joloshree is located at a very nice spot, right beside the river Ganges, which makes the ambiance quite pleasant. They have both indoor AC seating and outdoor AC seating options, giving flexibility depending on the weather and mood. The staff were good and attentive, and drinking water was served without asking, which was a nice gesture. Coffee options like cappuccino and latte were prepared from freshly ground beans, and the taste was decent. However, the quantity was on the smaller side, and there was no latte art. Also, the cup handles were too small, making them a bit uncomfortable to hold repeatedly. On the brighter side, complementary cookies were provided along with the coffee. One downside was the absence of a wash basin, which could have been useful. The service was also quite slow, and because of that we had to cancel our order for sizzling brownie with ice cream. Overall, Joloshree has potential, but it would be great if they could bring in more coffee culture--like varieties of croissants, muffins, brownies, and cookies--that pair well with coffee.

Joloshree is a must-have experience in Chandannagar. Food, ambience, and service are equally good. Goalondo Mutton is a bit spicy, but super good. Mutton Rogan Josh is also fairly good, so are the fish fingers and Brownie with icecream.

Visited Jolosree Restaurant recently and had a pretty enjoyable experience overall. Food (5/5): I tried the Grilled Fish with Mashed Potato--the plating was elegant, and the flavors were balanced. The fish was well-cooked,and the mashed potatoes were creamy and the texture was good. Service (5/5): The staff was courteous and attentive. Service was prompt without being rushed--definitely one of the highlights. Atmosphere (5/5): The decor was eye-catching and had a vibrant yet relaxed vibe. The hanging tires and warm lighting added a unique touch to the ambiance. A great spot if you're looking for good food with a pleasant setting and excellent service. Definitely worth a visit!
