A good place to have lunch around Goalpara Kopai bridge area in Shantiniketan. Bengali style cooking and Lunch items were fresh, tasty and well cooked. Pricing little bit on the upper side. Overall satisfied. Hundi Mutton and/or Kochi Patha Jhol must try.
This restaurant exceeded all our expectations. Every dish was prepared with care and tasted delicious - no complaints. Their ghee is so flavourful. What impressed us most was the attention to detail: dietary preferences and even small requests were taken very seriously. The restaurant is clean, well-managed, and the staff are so efficient. A heartfelt mention for Swarup (Mondal) Dada whose kindness and hospitality made our meals extra special. Truly one of the best dining experiences we've had in a resort. Must try if you're in Prantik!
The Ramshyam Cafe & Restaurant is one of the well decorated and good food place in Bolpur. The dinning area is fully air conditioned hence it's a quiet relief to have food here after a scorching heat outside. The cost is on the upper side but overall service and quality of food justify it handsomely. We had veg thali along with pomfret fry and curry. It was tasty.
Food is overhyped. Taste is very average of the fixed thali items and they charge 199+ for that. Then every other non veg item is expensive for the quantity served. Posto bora was a complete disaster with atta loaded into it. The ambiance is nice and the waiters are polite and courteous. I wouldn't really recommend.
The food was exceptional. Anando Pal waited on us and service was very good. The ambience was beautiful and inviting. The toilet was neat and clean. The property also has a hotel with around 18 rooms. I certainly recommend this place.
