Zafran is a fairly new place in town, and I dropped by last weekend. The ambience is pleasant with clean interiors & a modern yet cozy touch. The staff were polite and attentive, which I really appreciate
Coming to the food, the flavours were quite nice, I tried their Egg-Chicken Fried Rice and Chicken Kadai along with Tandoori Roti.. All were tasty and well-cooked. The portions felt reasonable for the price. There's still a bit of room for improvement in the service timing, but overall it's a promising start.
If they keep up the quality and consistency, Zafran can definitely become one of Burdwan's go-to restaurants in the coming months. Wishing them good luck!
