Zaika Family Restaurant

Tried with newly opened Zaika Family Resturant. Its a true family resturant with good amenities. All staff members and owner (Joydeep) are very friendly and humble with their every clients. Cleanliness is top notch. Food: Tasted with Chicken Drums of heaven which is one of the licious dish (suggested by Joydeep itself 5/5 Panner Tikka Kebab - 5/5 Main course: Basati Polaw 5/4 Mutton Kasa - 5/5. Must try this item. Desert: Ordered Masala Cola which is specially rendered by owner. Couldn't try other options as already full with those main course. Cost : That is truly super pocket friendly as compared to other resturants at Balurghat.

I recently visited this restaurant and had a pleasant overall experience. The ambiance reflects a Mughlai Gharana style, with a warm and traditional decor that creates a nice dining atmosphere. However, I noticed that the two-seater tables are placed quite far apart, which feels a bit odd and could be arranged better for a more intimate setting. Now, coming to the food: I ordered basonti pulao, kadai Chicken and Butter nun. Butter Naan: Soft, perfectly cooked, and buttery--just as expected. Basanti Pulao: Absolutely delicious! Made with Gobindobhog rice and generously topped with cashews, it was aromatic and flavorful. Kadai Chicken: This was a standout dish. Rich, flavorful, and topped with grated egg whites, which added an interesting texture and enhanced the taste. Overall, the dining experience was very good. The food quality was excellent, and despite minor seating issues, I would definitely recommend this restaurant if u Want to visit a restaurant in Balurghat.

Foods here are really delicious. Ambience is also good.

I went 2 days after Dusshera with 11 people. My experience was not good. It doesn't even have a washroom. Service wss very bad. Though Drums of heaven and crispy babycorn, chicken curry were good, Chicken Biriyani was not upto marks. It looks like it was readily prepared just to serve the order. With 2 biriyani, the initially served only one small bowl of salad. We ordered normal plain/jeera rice, after 1 hr they told that, even jeera rice was not available. There was no provision of regular drinking water which does not include the normal FCI guideline. Only packaged ones were available. When we asked, they told that it's due to puja. The management was not good. They don't even provide glass for water. When we asked, they served only one glass for 11 people. There was no beverage. Not even the bare minimum. We asked for masala Cold drink. They denied. After request, they served pepsi from local market, though we requested for coke. Even the plates they provided, was not uniform 10 were black,1 was white. We waited for 30 mins, were supposed to get a table that we asked for. Then suddenly a new group came and the workers alloted the new group to that table and apologetically offered another one for us. I think they really need to learn how to manage a restaurant and also without any washroom how they are running restaurant, is a big question.

Very bad experience.....food quality so poor....i request to all plz don't come here ....
