Maharaja Hotel & Restaurant ( PALACE )

The food was extremely bad. The AC in the room wasn't working. The blanket and other items were covered in dust. The floor was so dirty, we could feel it while walking. There were insects and bugs crawling in the bathroom. Even the toilet seat was broken. In the morning, when we ordered tea and coffee, we found rat feces in it -- extremely unhygienic and disgusting. This hotel is extremely filthy. Worst hotel ever. You will fall sick after eating the food here.

Very convenient hotel cum restaurant on the highway to and fro from Naintal, we ate here both ways. Good vegetarian food, lassi which uses too much back salt, great Dal, rotis, and waiters who do not understand the difference between Veera aloo and zeera rice . On the way back had Aaloo and mixed Parathas and Puri Bhaji which too nearly 40 minutes to arrive as a local politician was having a party there. Oh the Parathas were good.

The hotel experience was very bad.. and the restaurant experience even worse. The room was not properly clean and washroom basin already broken. Rat ki wajah se kitchen ki halat bahut buri thi. This is the last option and mine experience was a nightmare.

On 14th July 2025 I have visited Maharaja Hotel & Restaurant. I have ordered tea and feel tasty. Service was very good. Swachhata(Cleanliness) rating 10/10.
