Stopped by Moga Tadka in Gajraula during a highway trip -- pleasantly surprised by the quick service and decent portion sizes.
The food was fresh, well-cooked, and flavorful with good quality overall.
Since we are Jains, they were kind enough to cook bespoke food without onion garlic or root vegetable for us.
A reliable stop for a satisfying meal on the go.

The hotel is located on main Highway. Room rent is reasonable, I booked executive class with Rs2800 with breakfast, dinner and taxes. Food portions are huge, in a thali of Rs 369 two adults can eat and a child may be. Rooms are very clean, they also have a banquet, a restaurant and rooms also.
This is one of the best hotels I came across in such an amazing price.

Day 21 in India
We were on the road from Delhi to Jim Corbett National Park, with our two children in the back seat, navigating the long highway drive that has become so familiar over the past few weeks. It was Sawan, and we quickly discovered that finding meat, even something as simple as a chicken burger, was going to be nearly impossible. We stopped at several restaurants, including KFC, only to be told they were not serving any non vegetarian items during this period. Eventually, we gave up and picked up a cheese pizza from Pizza Hut for the kids.
Wanting something more traditional for ourselves, my husband and I decided to stop at Moga Punjabi Tadka in Gajraula. The location is convenient, right off the main highway, and the restaurant has a clean, modern setup. We were both hoping for a hearty Punjabi meal that would give us the flavors and warmth of a classic dhaba experience.
My husband ordered the special Amritsari naan set. He found it fine, but nothing special. I was looking forward to the special thali, but unfortunately it was not available. I went with the rajma chawal instead, which again was just okay. The rajma lacked the depth of spice I usually associate with this dish, and the rice was more serviceable than memorable.
That said, the service was quite efficient. The staff were quick, polite, and everything arrived at the table in good time. There was a system to the way things were handled, and that part of the experience was appreciated.
Still, something felt missing. We had hoped for a more rustic, roadside dhaba charm, the kind of stop that leaves a memory on your tongue and in your heart. But this felt more like a polished, modern highway restaurant that plays it safe. For many travelers that might be exactly what they are looking for. But for us, it did not deliver the flavor or soul we were hoping for on this long journey.
In the end, it was a functional meal in a clean and comfortable setting. Not bad, but not particularly special either. A decent pit stop if you are looking for quick vegetarian fare during Sawan, but not quite the Punjabi dining experience we had hoped for.

Recently, while travelling from Noida to Haldwani, I stopped by Moga Restaurant -- and wow, what a great decision that was!
The vibe was welcoming, service was quick, and the paratha? Absolutely excellent -- crispy on the outside, stuffed just right, and full of flavor.
Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a delicious and satisfying food break on the highway. Can't wait to visit again on my next road trip!
