Yaron Ka Dhaba

During festive if you order biriyani then you will be served on normal plates, and if you order rotis you will be served on disposable plates...don't know why this discrimination... And the quantity for full plates is actually less than half plate... I ordered full plate Hariyali Paneer 2 plates which cost me Rs 280/- each... I have added the images you can judge the value depending upon that. Taste wise it was good but service and quantity have disappointed me... Over all I will rate it not more than 2 star..

I visited Yaro Da Dhaba (DNV branch) today with my family for dinner after watching Puja. I've been a regular customer here for around 5-6 years -- ever since their earlier setup with outdoor seating arrangement However, today's experience was quite disappointing. Firstly, there was no handwash available. I asked a waiter for it before we started eating, and he said he would bring it. Secondly, the food was served on disposable plates with plastic spoons. I understand that during Puja there's a heavy rush, but that doesn't justify using one-time plates in a reputed place like this. Yaro Da Dhaba is known as one of the best restaurants in Dharmanagar -- this kind of service doesn't suit their reputation. Regarding food quality, I ordered fried rice -- in one plate the salt was missing, though the other was fine. I informed the waiter politely. After finishing, I again went to wash my hands but the handwash still hadn't arrived. They told me it was "stuck in traffic"! I fail to understand why the branch doesn't have permission or arrangement to purchase such basic items locally when they run out. When I complained, the lady at the reception offered me "Detergent" powder to wash my hands. I honestly didn't know how to react. I understand that prices are a bit higher during the Puja festival and that's normal with a limited menu -- but that doesn't mean customers should be served in paper plates and plastic spoons. At the end, there was a brief argument between us and the staff -- for which I also feel sorry -- but such poor customer service and treatment really makes me reconsider visiting again in the future.

I had a pretty good experience in this restaurant. Went there today for lunch, and i have to say food was good, taste and presentation of food was good. Atmosphere is average, coz even though I was in AC room didn't feel like Ac. Bit costly compared to other restaurants. Overall I liked it .

Nice atmosphere.... peaceful silent restaurant... food was good and hygienic.

We have had a couple of experiences here and for some reason it seems that the curry's here are always a bit sweeter - whether you take Chicken Roast or Chicken Tikka or Kosha. Also it always smells foul near the entrance. On the service side of things - Teddy their dog is the star waiter, love that good boy.
