Scoops Idly Tiffin Centre

A friend suggested so visited and I am happy for trying this place. Loved their karam idly and ghee roast idly I guess name almost uthapam taste. I've tried the smaller scoops ice cream pops too...they were good. Parking not easy to find...place was busy so slow service.

Scoops Idly Tiffin Centre on Siddiamber Bazar Road is seriously overhyped. The food is bland and lacks any real flavor. The idlies are soft but tasteless, and the chutneys and sambar are forgettable at best. For the high prices they charge, the quality is very disappointing. The service doesn't help either. Staff seem uninterested, slow, and inattentive. Even small requests take time, and the overall experience feels sloppy. Cleanliness is also not up to the mark, which makes the place feel unwelcoming. Despite all the online hype, this tiffin centre consistently underperforms. There are plenty of other eateries nearby offering better South Indian food, fresher ingredients, and much better service at reasonable prices. Overall, Scoops Idly Tiffin Centre is overhyped, overpriced, and not worth the visit. If you want flavorful food, decent service, and value for money, it's better to look elsewhere.

Scoops Idli" is one of the oldest and most iconic idli makers in Old City, Hyderabad, celebrated for its authentic flavors and rich culinary legacy. Recently, the establishment underwent renovations to add seating space, making it more welcoming for customers. While the menu offers a wide variety of dishes, the highlight remains their signature Hot & Fresh, Karam & Ghee-dipped Idlis. The eatery is especially renowned for its flavorful sambhar, a hallmark of their authenticity for decades. Their specialty dishes, such as the Manchurian Dosa, Tana Tan Dosa, and the extravagant Bahubali Dosa, are also popular choices. However, my experience was somewhat disappointing. The hygiene and overall management of the place left much to be desired, with improper maintenance and lackluster service. The sambhar was served lukewarm, which detracted from its appeal, and the fancy dosas did not live up to their names; the simple dosa proved to be the better option. While the idli was decent, it did not entirely compensate for the other shortcomings. Additionally, parking can be a hassle. You may need to park along the crowded road, and car parking options are unclear. Despite its legendary status, Scoops Idli could benefit from improvements in cleanliness, service, and overall experience.

Just an average food corner. Just over hyped . No taste at all and costly. Thise people dont even know how to behave with customers.

Different varieties of idli under one roof!!! U can find this small place around a junction but worth the taste. Seating area is small but there is always a moving crowd and waiting time is also less at this place. Special mention 1. Guntur idli 2. Mini idli Dosas are also available but my suggestion would be their IDLIS
