Couldn't try the Biryani. They said they don't serve biriyani after 3pm/lunch time. Tried the Malabar Parotta, Bun Parotta, with the veg gravy they served. Asked for the Hyderabadi Chicken Gravy from their menu but, it isn't Hyderabadi gravy if you ask me. It was more a chettinad gravy with extra garlic and gundu milagai/Gundu Chillies. It was good and it's extra oily. I'd be happier if they named it appropriately, or just say chicken gravy or something. The Idlies and the accompanying chutneys and sambhar were great. Had I known before ordering the rest, this would have been my go to even if it is lunch. Idlies, idiyappam and their accompaniments were worth every rupee. Won't say the same about the parottas. I liked the ambience, especially the photos on the wall. Appreciate the eye for history.
