A very good option to have breakfast on the Chennai Bangalore highway. Good food, clean rest rooms and plenty of parking. Service was efficient. They have both ac and non AC sections. Good value of money.

I travel very frequently between Bangalore and Madras and in countless times I never stopped in this Amirtha restaurant though I see it all time. Today I wanted to try and it was indeed a pleasant surprise that food was amazing and excellent that too for very reasonable rates. Service was so good as staff are very polite and kind. Highly recommended for good food. Only thing is it is not a very hifi looking ambience restaurant and a normal veg restaurant. so those who are particular about ambience may not be very comfortable but for the amazing food they should try for sure. I suggested them to serve in plantain leaf instead of normal plates as that will enhance this restaurants good food. Overall happy I tried this restaurant and hereafter it will be a good food stop.

I had lunch twice and a dinner. During lunch I had South Indian meals. The taste is awesome and good variety as well. I would say this is must have if you're visiting. During dinner I tried North Indian food, although food was good but didn't taste as much good as south indian items. I would rate 3.5 out 5 for North Indian and 5 out of 5 for south Indian meals.
