Ahmedia Restaurant Vaniyambadi Since 1975

A Truly Satisfying Stop for Great Food & Vibes! We visited this restaurant at an odd hour -- around 5:00 to 5:30 PM -- after a long drive, craving for some good food along that stretch. To our surprise, we were served hot and fresh Chicken and Mutton Biryanis right away! That first bite itself felt so comforting after the long journey. We also ordered their Ahmadiyar Special Platter, which was a feast on its own! It had two types of chicken, two types of fish, two types of prawn, one mutton, and one squid -- everything cooked perfectly and packed with flavor. The Mutton Biryani deserves a special mention -- tender pieces, rich aroma, and an authentic taste that reminded us of the biryanis from classic Muslim weddings After the meal, we enjoyed a cup of tea just outside the restaurant (towards the right side). The setup there had a lovely vibe -- good lights, relaxing atmosphere -- and the tea was simply outstanding! We even stayed for another round just because it was that good! The restaurant was clean and spacious, with a well-maintained prayer hall and ample car parking space -- definitely thoughtful touches that made our experience even better. Overall, a delightful stop -- great food, great service, and wonderful ambiance. Highly recommended!

Ahmedia Restaurant is one of the best places on the highway to enjoy delicious non-veg food when traveling to Yelagiri or nearby towns. The ambiance is beautiful, the staff is courteous, and both the food and service are excellent. They also have a small kids' play area, some shopping options, and very neat and clean toilets, which make it very convenient for families. I was traveling with kids on a busy government holiday, and even though there was a long waiting time, the staff thoughtfully helped me with seating without me even requesting it. That kind of gesture is rare to find. We stopped here twice -- once while going to Yelagiri and again on our way back to Bangalore. Would highly recommend it and will definitely visit again.

I got a plastic cover piece from the mutton Biryani. We informed them, it took them 10mins to give an explanation. Anyways they offered us a new Biriyani but we didn't feel like eating another one. The mutton Biryani was flavourful but not that tasty as they say. I've had better tasty mutton Biryani in Chennai. The meat was very well cooked. It was so soft and the rice was a bit watry but nice with very less masala to it. Their special BBQ was okayish,ike yhere was nothing special about it. Just a normal Al faham chicken taste. I didn't oike their mayonnaise though. The restaurant is very spacious butthere is only restroom in the 1st floor which I think is a flaw for a big restaurant like this. Overall I would say don't get influenced by youtubers and their hypes. It's not a must try Biriyani to travel all the way to try it. Incase if you are travelling near that area you can try. That's it.

This enhanced our lunch experience. Made our drive from Bangalore well worth it. The place was crowded at 1:45pm. The staff efficiently managed seating arrangements ensuring no one has to wait more than 15min for a table. Well done .

Nice non vegetarian hotel for a high way for a pit stop, especially if you want to try a Vaniyambadi style - Mild and Flavourfull Briyani. - Ample space for parking - Special mention to their Tea, Tasted like a Irani chai, i can relate this to a tea I have tasted in Hyderabad - charminar area. - Kids play area and clean rest rooms available
