If it wasn't for the rude welcoming by one of their staff, I would probably give this place a 5 star for the food. When I'm hungry and looking for a good place to eat I expect the staff in the restaurant to be welcoming and sweet. I dont want to be bossed around to sit. It's not like this place has a reservation for tables. So when I'm hungry I expect to sit wherever I please. Staff ordered me around unnecessarily made me loose it. As for the management I ask you to review your employees and teach them basic manners and hospitality. If he asked nicely I probably would've caved. Be better. Good luck.

Very Very bad. We are new to Kumbakonam and want to explore this place. It is good as far as we have seen. Today we ordered 1 set of parotta( which is 2 parotttas ), curd rice and sambar rice. They gave only 1 parottta, curd rice with very very very little pickle which was not sufficient and sambar rice. We are greatly disappointed by this. We we called them they are insisting that we bought only one parottta and are not speaking politely with us and taking steps to solve this. The person who was speaking arrogantly with us is asking "Shall I send the parotttta with your next order?" How is this possible???. We asked " I want to eat now and you are telling me that you will send next time". Not happy with the way she spoke with us. Really sorry to say, It was not what we expected from Ganesh Bavan.

Our family members had dinner just two days back, worst service by the staff.dishes not in standard. We ordered chola Puri 2 plate, the chana masala quantity was very less ( half cup) , hence asked for another cup,the bearer provided same quantity provided and informed us, not to ask further which is irritated to entire family members. Few years back this hotel was best .now the standard is very poor.
