Worst experience! We had breakfast at Gandhirams around 7.30 am. The idly was dry and not hot that early in the morning. The ghee roast had no ghee on it and when we ordered extra ghee separately, the waiter gave us something that tasted like oil but smelled like ghee (Some adulterated ghee possibly). The food tasted bad and was lacking spices. The only taste we could taste was salt. I wouldn't recommend the place. And for a person coming from Coimbatore, a relatively busy city than Udumalpet, I feel 100 for a roast with that taste and quality of food is over pricy!

I ordered Chilly Parotta from your restaurant 2 days ago. After eating it, I suffered from food poisoning. The parotta was extremely oily and tasted stale, as if prepared from leftovers. This is a serious health risk and caused me severe illness. Please take immediate action to ensure proper hygiene and food quality. This is very unsafe, especially for children. Please take strict care in food preparation and hygiene so that such incidents do not happen again.

On the way from Munnar to Chennai we took parcel from here. Wow, the food was great. We were in hurry so didn't try much item. Took parcel as Idly, plain dosa, fried rice and chilli parota. Every thing was good. In munnar not much option for pure veg. This was heaven for us. Owner was very helpful. They give parcel in paper bags.

We ordered idli parotta and dosa parcel for dinner. After sometime we were given cosas and asked to wait for a while to get idlis and parotta. Aftera very long wait when we enquired about the delay the person in the packing section told that he had missed our bill. We got annoyed on this statement and asked why he had not told us but he had no answer. Somehow we managed to get our parcel and on returning home we found that instead of idli something else was packed. So be careful they don't give you what you want, instead they give you what they like.
