Thayar is a great local spot that serves a variety of tasty dishes like parotta, fried rice, noodles, chicken fry, brain fry, kudal fry, kotthu parotta, and more. While the ambiance isn't the best,but the taste always makes it worth it. They have plenty of seating space, but no AC, and the seating area is decent for a local hotel. If you're looking for delicious, authentic food without worrying about fancy surroundings, this place is definitely worth a visit!

Still I'm wondering how I missed this parotta shop in trichy.. worth to wait and eat parotta with varieties of kuruma.. tried egg kothu parotta & Bun parotta.. good place to eat with friends

Nice place for parotta and mutton lovers in special. You'll get varieties of parotta like leaf parotta, puff parotta etc. Lots of lamb organ based dishes are available. Very spicy but good food. Costs Rs. 100-300 per head depending on the taste.

Great taste provided specially mutton kolumbu which need to ask separately (free of cost). There many side dish available like chicken, mutton, kadai. Overall place for going with friends at evening.
