Dindigul Thalappakatti Thoraipakkam

I visited this place with a friend of mine on a weekday. It was great experience and the famous thalapakkatti biriyani stood up to its name and the ambience was also good. I particularly liked the hospitality of the restaurant. All the staff were responding well but the disadvantage I felt was the language as I couldn't speak tamli but the staff made sure that it didn't cause any issues. The 4 for the food cos the food here was not something that you will feel great about after eating it but it is satisfying.

Service is pathetic to the core. This resturant won't treat you well if you go with smaller group. I had a pathetic experience of hitting this restaurant along with my family. Since 10 minutes of placing my order, my adjacent table got filled with large group of people and their order was delivered almost instantly. They made me wait to wait for 20-25 minutes since the adjacent table order was delivered. While asking for the reason, the response was very insane. They mentioned that my starter is supposed to take some time wherein the other order was simple and straight. It was a pathetic lie as the other table has ordered almost everything in the menu. On top of everything, the starter which I delivered has never arrived until we complete 80% of our food. While I asked them to cancel it they pretended it as if it will be delivered quickly, but they never stepped in my table direction for quite some time until I asked them to cancel it again. They have no regrets for providing such a pathetic experience. Even a small resturants these days have high morale but these guys are completely money minded. Will NEVER EVER step into this restaurant again and won't recommend for others as well.

I visited Dindigul Thalappakatti last weekend for dinner and had a mostly enjoyable experience. We ordered Chicken 65, Muru Muru Fish Fry, Nool Parottas, and Kodaikanal Chicken Curry. The starters were the highlight of the meal -- the Chicken 65 was perfectly spiced and crispy, while the Muru Muru Fish Fry stood out with its fresh, juicy fish and crunchy coating. Both starters were full of flavor and cooked to perfection. The main course, however, was a bit underwhelming. The Nool Parottas were slightly undercooked, which affected the overall texture and taste. The Kodaikanal Chicken Curry was average and didn't quite match the punch of the starters in terms of flavor. That said, the dining atmosphere was pleasant. The ambience and decor created a warm and inviting space, and the staff were polite, attentive, and humble throughout our visit. Their service definitely added to the overall experience!

The mutton biryani is amazing and service is very fast. Staff was also polite.

Fantastic food and service as usual. Vijay was our captain and he got us our food very quickly amd served with a smile.
