Maintaining the status of ancient style. A thatched shed with poor lighting and using all old furnitues and exhibiting the old clock, bell, radio tape recorder etc. We had idly, dosa and wheat porata. The side dishes are also good . Nice one.

This is on the Trichy/ Tanjore highway in the left hand side towards Tanjore. It's a old vintage thatched house converted to a eat joint. Quiet calm and they hsve tried to maintain it and hsve given the feel of vintage household. One can find lot of wooden chairs, tables, drums, old clock, pallankuzhi, radio, typewriter.. They have traditional receipes also in dosa using millets. Its worth tsking a break and people are also warm. They can still find better way to maintain it.

Wonderful ambience and really loved this place for interior setup done. We can find traditional wooden furniture and harmony boxes, lanther lights too. Coffee served here is hot and strong. Recommended for highway travelers.

First and foremost thing to speak about the hotel is its infrastructure my god they have perfectly made it in a village style I mean in the retro style.It has reminded me the old village traditional house constructions. Food is ofcourse tasty.They do provide a vast varieties of idly and dosa.Felt the price is bit expensive and fine.Service is good and they do provide all payment options which is a appreciable one.

Idly was fantastic. It may ba called malli poo idly, that much soft. Variety of dosa, all are healthy choices. Ambiance also good, but can be improved or well maintained. I like podi idly.
