I visited Ishtaa on Ariyalur Main Road, Perambalur, and tried their Pani Poori (6 pieces), Samosa Channa, Ginger Tea, and French Fries. The place is clean and the ambiance is pleasant for a vegetarian restaurant.
Food experience:
The taste of the snacks was just average--nothing particularly memorable. The Pani Poori and Samosa Channa were alright, but the portions across all dishes felt quite small compared to the price. Even the French Fries, which is usually a safer bet, came in a limited quantity.
Service:
The biggest positive was the service. A young staff member, Vishnu, attended to us with great attention and was very polite. It was nice to see someone so committed to ensuring a good customer experience. Service definitely stood out during my visit.
Value for money:
While the food was fine, the low quantity for what you pay is a letdown. For a bill totaling 213 for what are essentially snacks and a tea, it feels overpriced for the portion size and the quality delivered.
