It's a tradition for me to have food at Lakshmi Vilas whenever I visit Perundurai. Reached there by 9:40 AM, but Kudal was already over. I ordered an idly, parotta, mutton varuval, and egg dosa. The idly looked hard but was actually soft and paired well with the mutton varuval. The parotta was crispy and flaky -- just the way I love it -- and was served with thanni kolambu, which lacked a bit of depth in meat flavor. The egg dosa was crispy, and I wrapped up the meal with a hot half boil. The server was kind and even served me getty chutney for the parotta and dosa.
