It's a tradition for me to have food at Lakshmi Vilas whenever I visit Perundurai. Reached there by 9:40 AM, but Kudal was already over. I ordered an idly, parotta, mutton varuval, and egg dosa. The idly looked hard but was actually soft and paired well with the mutton varuval. The parotta was crispy and flaky -- just the way I love it -- and was served with thanni kolambu, which lacked a bit of depth in meat flavor. The egg dosa was crispy, and I wrapped up the meal with a hot half boil. The server was kind and even served me getty chutney for the parotta and dosa.

The food s good. Not worth the price as per quantity.. there s no gpay or card payment available . Only cash. And they wont give the bill for the food. Wonder if they r paying tax...!

The food here is so much expensive for the taste they provide. There is no Gpay here and how we can pay if we don't have any card or hand cash with us. There is so much hype for this hotel around social media which is totally unfair for this hotel.

Too much hype! Single Parotta - 25 Waited 1 hour to get seated, and then another 30 mins just for the parotta Parotta was just okaish, nothing great. Definitely not worth the wait. The Kuruma/Kolambu was average -- lacked depth in flavour. Some might like it, but personally didn't work for me. Dosa was like tissue paper -- didn't suffice at all. The only highlights were the Kaadai & Nattu Kozhi -- full of flavour, not overloaded with masalas. Nicely balanced and well-cooked! One good thing -- they use groundnut oil for cooking, which adds a nice touch and is a healthier choice. Overall, not worth the hype for most items. Can visit once for the Kaadai/Nattu Kozhi if you've got time and patience and they will offer Sidedishes only for specific people

Famous hotel in Perundurai keeping their tradional taste and quality for non veg food items. Idli and kudal kulambu is a famous and familiar menu of this hotel. I am a very old customer of this hotel still they are maintaing the same taste and quality.
