This hotel is very spacious and hygienic. There is no delay in service and offers lot of options in menu. Being vegetarians we struggled a lot while we stayed at Ooty. Finally we found this one, which is a lot better compared to other veg restaurants near by.
We had our dinner here. Price was reasonable. They served parota with curry(which is not usually the case) . Served hot drinking water. Had clean (not so clean) toilet. Waiters were very friendly and polite. They didn't have many varieties but whatever was there was good. A decent one for vegetarians. It's nearer to bus stand and market. It's kinda opposite to the big clock tower. Opposite to petrol bank.
It was a terrible experience, and I wouldn't go back. The restaurant claims to offer high-class vegetarian food, but it was far from that. The food was burnt, overpriced, and barely tolerable. However, the worst part was the attitude of the owner and staff, who were extremely unwelcoming, especially towards someone they considered an outsider. Despite being fellow Indians, their behavior was anything but hospitable.
I feel the ratings have been fake. Pathetic experience, I ordered Chilli Garlic Noodles and they sent me Veg Hakka noodles with addition of just chopped green chillies. Noodles were over-boiled with no taste all. Chilly paneer was somewhat edible enough to have if you are damn hungry. Worst taste
Really decent place to eat south indian and Chinese food and prices are reasonable keeping the tourist location in mind. Tried Idly, fried rice, Daal, Veg Manchurian and Gobi Manchurian and loved the Manchurian items the most. Gobi manchurian was crispy and prepared in a balanced way with sauces and spices. Veg Manchurian gravy was really delicious.
