A true hidden gem... Very easy to ignore or write off... Centrally located... But on first floor... Approach is a huge turn off... But if you ignore it and brave into the restaurant you will not be disappointed with the food... Authentic Rajasthani/Jain spread... Taste is absolutely delicious... Service is quick... A definite must visit... Not to be missed...

It's a nice Rajasthani Restaurant located on the first floor. We tried Phukka with Dal Tadka and Vegetable Biryani. Both were good and filling. Felt like hone cooked meal. Had Lassi and it was great.

My initial impression was that the restaurant exhibited a remarkable degree of precision in the items they presented to customers. To elaborate further on this point, it became evident that their approach was characterized by a certain frugality. This was particularly noticeable in the provision of amenities. For instance, I entered with plus one, and upon being seated, I was supplied with only two napkins. This detail, though seemingly minor, served as a clear indicator of the establishment's stringent efforts to manage and control its operational expenses. Such a practice suggests a deliberate strategy to minimize overheads, which can sometimes impact the overall customer experience. Regarding the food itself, I placed first order for Poha. The dish, as served, consisted primarily of flattened rice, diced onions, and a sprinkling of sev bhujiya. However, the overall quality of this particular offering was quite rudimentary, distinctly mediocre, and notably bland in its flavor profile. There was a significant missed opportunity for enhancement. The dish could have been considerably improved, and its appeal elevated by a substantial margin, through the simple addition of peanuts, which would have provided a textural contrast and nutty flavor, along with a selection of essential spices to introduce more depth and complexity to the taste. My second order was for Aloo Paratha. This dish, too, was prepared with a very basic set of ingredients, specifically salt, chili powder, and mashed potato. Consistent with the poha, the aloo paratha also suffered from a lack of distinct flavor, presenting as quite bland. Similar to the previous dish, there was ample room for improvement. The culinary team could have significantly enhanced its taste and overall quality by incorporating a subtle hint of finely chopped onion, which would have added a welcome pungency and moisture, or by introducing a more diverse array of essential spices to create a more vibrant and engaging flavor. My visit to the basin to wash hands, to my surprise, the Tissue Roll Dispenser was empty. It is also pertinent to highlight that Pankaj Bhojanalaya operates with a pricing structure that positions its menu as relatively expensive. This, combined with the observed cost-cutting measures, suggests that the establishment aims for substantial profit margins on its offerings. Furthermore, a critical observation is that the fundamental concept of a "heartfelt meal," which is frequently lauded and widely celebrated in numerous reviews pertaining to this restaurant, was conspicuously absent during my visit. The experience did not convey the warmth, generosity, or culinary passion that one might expect from a place receiving such commendations, leaving a noticeable gap between expectation and reality.

North Indian vegetarian restaurant. Visited for lunch parking is paid parking on the road. Ordered Masala papad , baby corn manchurian and manchow soup for starters. Masala Papad wwas tasty, soup is not that good more like manchurian sauce and baby corn manchurian was nice. For the main course ordered Veg Biryani, Pulka and Mushroom masala. Main course was tasty and good but we found Stone in the Biryani. Lassi was not good for the price, it's like buttermilk not thick.
