We went quite late at night and there were people waiting for food parcels. It's a very small shop which can accommodate 12 people at a time but we returned with our tummy full at a very cheap price. It's a mess with a small kitchen and everything tasted very homely. The portion was large compared to other hotels and the chapathi was very soft and it was kid approved. Overall it's the best place to have a hearty homely meal at Ooty.
Food tasted very normal, not so tasty or divine as hyped in some youtube reviews. Decent food which can fill your tummy without biting your pocket. You can try for breakfast or dinner. Food options can be improved for breakfast as number of items were limited when we visited in morning around 9.
Over priced, No so friendly staff, getting lot of customers from a video done by irfan. Taste is just normal. Not much space to sit. Not recommended.
Very homely.... Quite small can accommodate NOT more than 6 people. We were there at 830am to get steaming hot idlies accompanied with Sambar and spicy green chutney. We were also served dosais. unfortunately today Pongal and were not prepared. Reasonably priced served on Banana leaf. Parking is a problem, you need to park enroute and may be walk down a bit. Yummy and full tummy !
You can try any food here. Everything is a must try. Be early to try their breakfast. The place is small so you might wait for a while, but it's worth it.
