Good spot for high class vegetarian food. Tiffen and meals. Good local support for the care and quality of food they provide. Ample parking area. Excellent view of the highway and western ghats. Separate tea and coffee counter. Quality tea time snacks. Juice corner. Fresh juice, falooda, milk shakes, Dairy Day Ice Creams. Superb cleanliness. High Ambience seating. Excellent toilet facilities. Parking support. Altogether good experience.
MEDHU VADA IS THE WORST OF WORST !! I usually order chapatis , Dosas , idlys or pooris from here all would be well and good for breakfast (I recommend chapatis from here) Yesterday I had the time for lunch (ordered through Zomato) , had vegetable biriyani (onion raita , veg stew was provided along) The biriyani looked so red ! Nevermind , the taste was quite good , the rice was sufficient for one and the packaging was also good! 29/06/2025 edit : I ordered vada and poori kizhangu through swiggy !! Poori kizhangu was mediocre ... But the medhu vada (ulundha vadai) was disgusting to taste!! I never expected this from thaazhakudy neelakandan hotel . The vada tasted like it was not made of ulundhu batter but made by some adulterated batter!! Though the poori was mediocre had the worst experience with vada which altogether spoilt the breakfast
I had masala dosa there during my bus trip from Varkala to BLR. Food was served good quality & fast. They only gave us 2 options considering we are duing bus route. So that we can have fast. - Dosa dosa ( Plain & Masala) - Paratha
Bus stopped here for dinner. Tea and coffee was good. The dining area looks good. Edit. Delay in service is too much. Many buses are coming here. There is a long queue for using toilet aswell.
We had stopped here enroute to Bangalore and the food was really tasty. Their dosas are very fresh, crisp and their chutneys are utterly delicious, especially the green chutney. Washrooms are also clean. Service is super fast and friendly.
