Masala Dosa and Vada chutney were really good The restaurant has a large dine-in area and looks quite old and famous. But hygiene needs improvement -- handwash area not clean, no proper liquid, and floors not maintained well. If hygiene was better, I'd easily give 4 stars.
Good vegetarian, traditional food at the middle of the Mettupalayam city just near to the bus stand. We had Onion Rava , Idiappam , Masala dosa , Poori. It is nice to see a big plantain leaf placed and then the food is served like in weddings. The chutney is awesome - freshly made. Service is fast. Only improvement would be to maintain it a bit more cleanly.
If you are on the way to ooty/coonoor/kotagiri this is a good place to have food.food tasted great. Pogal and ghee roast, sambhar and chutney tasted too good. Fast service. Toilets available but you'll have to wait in a queue
The best hotel in Mettupalayam. Impeccable quality. Good place to park supply cars immediately. If you go to Mettupalayam, you should try this hotel.
Tasty food - good value for money Had a couple of curries, veg rice and parota. Food arrived quickly and nicely presented on banana leaves. Everything was very tasty and a good portion.... we didn't manage to eat it all. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Its a simple restaurant on a very busy street. We would return anytime when we were back in town.
