If you are traveling form Ooty to Coimbatore once you reach Mettupalayam, you can't miss the board for A2B - Adyar Ananda Bhavan Please stop and have their traditional South Indian thali it was just amazing Please don't miss the part of Rice along with ghee podi oh my god that was juts luscious. I did ordered mini meals but the thali was outstanding and worth. Anil Roy was excellent and served great hospitality. Regards Sachin

Nestled serenely in what feels like the middle of nowhere, Adayar Ananda Bhavan offered us a delightful culinary pause on our journey to Coonoor. Surrounded by quietude and simplicity, this pure vegetarian South Indian eatery exudes an old-world charm that instantly calms the traveler's soul. We savored a plate of golden, crisp Rava Dosa and perfectly fried Medu Vada, paired with piping hot cups of South Indian filter coffee and masala tea. The Medu Vada was a true highlight, crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside, and seasoned to perfection. The Rava Dosa, though beautifully crisp, had an overwhelming amount of whole black pepper, which slightly overpowered the delicate flavors. Nevertheless, it was a satisfying experience. The coffee and tea were simply divine, rich, aromatic, and just what one needs to rejuvenate during a long road trip. These are an absolute must-try! Service was modest and unhurried, though communication was a minor hurdle as the staff seemed to have limited understanding of Hindi and English. Still, their warmth and hospitality shone through. Price-wise, it's slightly on the higher side for a highway stop, but given the quality and setting, it felt fair. All in all, a tranquil stopover that promises authentic South Indian flavors and a comforting break from the road. Worth a visit if you're passing by!

Excellent veg restaurant on the way to Ooty! Had dinner here during our trip--clean and spacious with good parking. The food was fresh, tasty, and served hot. Service was spot on--quick, polite, and efficient. Great place for families or anyone looking for a hygienic and satisfying vegetarian meal. Highly recommended!

The food quality is consistently good, with a variety of South Indian delicacies that are both tasty and satisfying. However, the service could be improved, as it feels a bit average compared to the standards set by the rest of the establishment. Overall, it's a pleasant place for a wholesome vegetarian meal in a clean and comfortable setting.

Located right on the Ooty main road. This place is losing its reputation, poor service, they are not willing to serve at all. Customers have to wait patiently for someone to come and take orders. Whatever you ask they first take the order and then later inform that the items are not available. The quality of the food has also drastically come down. The north Indian meal is an absolute scam here and the parotta was too hard and oily. The hygiene of the restaurants was also not up to par. Overall waste of money and totally disappointed.
