I tried their sakkarai pongal and it was not good. It was too sweet its not that Flavorful and it had lumps of rice and dal. Cashews and dry grapes was absentees in the scene. Their food quality is going down over the last few years.

Heard it is a favourite spot in madurai but they made feel like not a great choice. They didnt have much options except idly and dosai. When we asked podi idli or podi they didnt have it to serve though we went early morning. Idly was so soft and good, chutney options can be better and sambar was literally like rasam Ulunthu vadai - not cooked properly Masal podi dosai was ok Coffee was soo light Totally we didnt enjoy their food.

"Food is okay, but the prices are quite high. One cup of coffee or milk costs 30, and even a simple medhu vada, which usually costs around 10 elsewhere, is priced at 25 here. The taste is fine, but the pricing feels too costly for such basic items."

Worst experience I have ever seen. Very worst experience, never try a tomato chutney in this place(worst Tomato chutney i have ever eaten in my life) and other dishes are average. The price of the food was overrated. Here is the bill you can also see the price.

This shop of Murugan Idli is like a small local shop like any other nearby. Personally, I enjoyed the food. I tried the Ghee Podi Idli and Pongal. Both were agreeing to my taste and I would try again if I get the opportunity.
