Hotel Ashok Bhavan

Waiters in this hotel behaves rudely with ladies. They don't have manners to speak with females. We had very bad experience visiting this place. Don't recommend to anyone because of the staffs, specially a waiter of short height in his late 50's. He was staring at us continuously and murmuring to himself, might be abusing us. I felt hatred in his eyes for tourist coming from North. Management should throw away these kind of creature for their betterment. Only 1 lady waiter was nice and kind to us. I am giving 1 star because of her.

Review of Hotel Ashok Bhavan, Madurai We used only the restaurant service at Hotel Ashok Bhavan while waiting for our bus from Madurai to Bengaluru. The restaurant is divided into two sections: AC and Non-AC dining areas. Unfortunately, the food quality was not up to the mark. We ordered Paneer Manchurian, expecting a typical North Indian preparation. However, what we received was more like paneer pakora -- dry and deep-fried, lacking the flavor and texture of the actual dish. Based on this experience, I rated their service and food quality 2 stars. In terms of hygiene, the AC section was reasonably clean, but the Non-AC section needs improvement. One positive experience was that the AC dining area provided a baby chair, which made it much easier for us to feed our child comfortably and enjoy our meal without hassle -- definitely a thoughtful facility for families with small children. The location of the restaurant is excellent -- especially convenient for travelers looking for a quick meal before boarding buses. For this reason, I gave 5 stars for the location. Overall, my experience was just okay, so I've rated it 3 stars in total. Thank you -- I hope this review helps other visitors make an informed decision.

I went to this restaurant recently, horrible experience. Waiters are unfriendly to customers, they keep laughing at you for no reason and tell you to go when your food is over. Also, so many items are not available, ex: there was no masala in masala dosa at evening.

In this hotal bad service, we ordered sweet lime juice very very bitter tastes... they grind with seed and forcing to drink.. saying they will not cancel .. we paid 150 rs for bad juice and we did not drink. They are rude in not canceling it. Waste hotal.not value for money

Unexpectedly we went to the shop - the food was very good but the service was poor. We were waiting for long time no one came to take the order we were repeatedly call them to take the order then they has came , but they walked and roamed the floor in front of us.
