The coffee here is absolutely fantastic -- rich, aromatic, and a true taste of authentic South Indian filter coffee. A must-try for coffee lovers! Along with that, the breakfast items like idli, dosa, and puri are equally delightful -- fresh, well-prepared, and full of traditional flavor. A great spot for a satisfying and authentic South Indian meal in Kumbakonam.

This place is really famous for the Kumbakonam degree coffee. It's really worth the hype. We liked it. We have tried almost all the items in their menu. They all were really tasty and affordable. Their service is really good. Overall I like this place very much and I recommend this place to all who want to taste the authentic tamil cuisine.

If you're in search of authentic South Indian tiffin and filter coffee in a no-frills, traditional setting, Sri Mangalambika Vilas Coffee Hotel is a gem you shouldn't miss. Nestled in the heart of the city in Sannadi street, this old-style eatery is known for its authentic tiffin items, and of course, strong filter coffee served in traditional tumblers. We visited this shop in the evening for its filter coffee which was really good. My kids had badam milk. Excellent customer by the way. Sri Mangalambika Vilas offers a true taste of Tamil Nadu's culinary tradition. Don't expect luxury -- come here for authenticity, taste, and heritage.

One of the oldest restaurants and serves some good South Indian food. Went for lunch and dinner multiple days. Plantain leaf meals are a highlight- simple 4-10 items but super tasty and good quality. Staff are friendly: but even the AC restaurant can be quite busy ... Best filter coffee in town. Their Kadapa and tiffin items are very tasty too.
