I recently visited Kumbakonam and bought mutton biryani from Aathurar Biryani. The rice was okay, but the two pieces of mutton were like paneer cubes - very disappointing. Also, there was no egg included. When I asked about it, they said the egg is only complimentary with the family bucket. I've never come across a restaurant where the mutton pieces are so small and there's no egg with the biryani. If the price had been reasonable, it wouldn't have been such an issue, but it cost 290, and all I got was rice.
