We went as a group of four and tried their lunch meals which was absolutely delicious if you miss home food, this place is a must visit. Driven by their delicious sambar, we had to visit the place again for dinner the following day and their special dosa was it was super spicy but addictive. I highly recommend this place in Kodaikanal.
I took Break fast on 18th of March 2025. Went to this Restaurant after seeing the Reviews . Location : It is adjacent to the Temple , while driving car take care . Parking is there but very limited. Food Quality : Very Good . The Vada was very fine . Idly , special Dosa were also Good . Poori was cold and the Pongal was Satisfactory .
The food was great and the hospitality was so warm and welcoming--it truly deserves a special shout-out! People who love to explore a home like tamil food can visit here with out any second thought. Mind the parking as the area has a capacity for 4 to 5 cars only
Owner is a aged person but he is also serving like young chap. Food taste was very good. We had both breakfast and dinner. During breakfast vada is very crispy and superb. Highly recommended. Night had garlic uttapam is awesome. If ur a pure veg, this hotel is very budget friendly and tasty without any harm to our stomach or health
A very small vegetarian shop. If you think, it will be a bit cheaper than other big or star type hotel then you are wrong. It is a costly, small hotel. That's all. The quality is not up to mark. They use very cheap oil. You can assess by the smell of the food. They charge extra for parcel. ( A bit very high compared to other hotels). It is a very congested place and not suitable for family. The owner will force you to take some foods which are not sold that day. Finally to summarise, I tell you that this very small vegetarian hotel which is very costly with low quality and hygiene. So , particularly tourists are advised to choose some other good and hygienic hotel than this hotel.
