I had mutton biryani (280) & chicken 65 (120) for lunch. The biryani was in good quantity. The rice was subtle in taste and flavorful. The mutton pieces were slightly hard but juicy. The 65 was very good. For this price it had a lot of chicken pieces and they were soft and juicy. The service could be faster though, we had to wait for 15 minutes to order and another 10 minutes to get the order.
We had planned to cook food for dinner in our resort Cloud Cabin Cottage but due to severe cold in the evening planed to have food outside and visited this hotel. Ordered chicken leg biryani and chichen 65. They serve in banana leaves and its common here in Kodaikanal. Taste was good the tamilian biryani taste and chicken 65 was also good. Hotel is ok in cleanliness but still it should be improved. Have good parking place. Prices are moderate.
Imran Briyani Hotel serves a classic, home-style briyani that's gentle on the stomach. While it may not be overly masala, flavorful or spicy, it's a comforting option. The seeraga samba rice is a nice touch. Ambiance is basic, but it's a good spot for a straightforward, no-frills meal. No worry about parking in this place as they have plenty of space to park cars and bikes.
Imran biriyani is a must try in kodaikanal,the beef biriyani and the chicken 65 is top notch,the customer service is also nice,having a hot biriyani at the cold kodaikanal is a feeling...
The mid aged person near cash counter seems to be educated but little rude to the customers and employees.. Food is good.. Served hot.. Can try once..
