Tried this place recently and ordered the coin paratha and butter chicken. The paratha was really good soft, flaky, and absolutely delicious, paired perfectly with the gravies. However, the butter chicken was a bit of a letdown. The chicken pieces had a slight smell that made them seem less fresh, and the gravy was overly sweet, which took away from the classic butter chicken flavour. Overall, it was a mixed experience loved the paratha, but the butter chicken needs some work on both freshness and balance of taste.

It is located at the busiest town of kodaikkanal,, only limited parking space available infront of the shop and you have to park into the roadside. Food was average and you have to wait atleast 10 to 20 minutes for the food. Staffs we're very friendly and cooperative.at the washroom only one tap is functional. Pricing seems to be little high. For the soft drink and juices you need to get it from the side shop by yourself.

I recently visited Al Baiq Restaurant in Kodaikanal, and i tried there masala dosa for breakfast unfortunately, my experience was below average. The food was quite disappointing - lacking in flavor and freshness. The quality of the dishes didn't meet my expectations at all. Additionally, I found the restaurant to be not very hygienic, which was a big concern. Cleanliness is essential for a good dining experience, and this place fell short in that regard. Overall, I wouldn't recommend it and hope they improve both the food and the cleanliness of the restaurant.

One worst service ever . We ordered naan 6 plates and 2 non veg gravies. Also veg rice and Gobi chilly. They are taken almost 1 hr for preparation. Too much of time taken. Vegetarian dishes taken extra 15 minutes.chilly Gobi not cooked properly it was half cooked. We are Very disappointed. Tandoori chicken not cooked properly.
