Walked in to the restaurant today and felt a stench of mold smell but too hungry to notice or worry about it. The place needs a good cleaning. Service was very very moderate. Food was brought to the table fast but the server taking the order was too lethargic. Did not like the attitude of the person taking order. Needs a little bit more work on the dessert menu. The sizzling Brownie sizzled but the brownie was too hard.
Visited The Curry Restaurant for dinner during my Kanyakumari trip. Ambience was calm and cosy. The Prawn Pepper Fry was the best dish we ordered. Service was efficient and polite.
Extremely disappointing experience. We ordered chicken pakoda, but there was no trace of chicken in it--it seemed more like onion pakoda. Despite raising this concern, the staff insisted it was chicken pakoda. I'm sharing photos for reference. To make matters worse, when we reported the issue to the manager, instead of being polite or understanding, he broke one of the pakoda pieces in front of us and adamantly claimed it was chicken. The arrogance was amazing--there was zero regard for customer feedback or basic courtesy. The biryani and soup were average at best--nothing memorable. Portions were noticeably smaller compared to other restaurants in the area offering similar cuisine. Overall, it was a frustrating and unsatisfactory experience. Definitely not worth the price or the hassle.

Food tastes good and highly recommended for family.Staff need training, better you check with them multiple times for food and Bill. Getting bill itself was a task for us and we waited nearly 30 min. All other factors are good in this restaurant.
