So i was all hungry after long hours of some work, when someone suggested to eat lunch at a nearby hotel. So, this was the first time i went in here.not too much expectations sincwe it looked small to be much popular. Needed to buy token for meals. Too busy at the time i went in, managed to find a place on my own, was served food in a plaintain leaf. The menu was good with poriyal, kootu and sundaal. you don't get that often. It tasted good and got extra servings of all three. Once rice bowl was provided, i was asked whether i would need Keerai or Kara kuzhambu, was confused, but keerai did the magic. It was so good. Then they provided the staple Sambar, Rasam, etc... The service was good, they never ever let anyone wait for anything, always running around and serving the customers proactively. They even asked me if i needed extra rice, i didn't ask if it was on the house or i needed to pay for it. So check on that. I didn't take though. Overall, lunch was great and tasty! Cost wise its on the lower side and worth every rupee you spend!!! Parking is a no no. its in a small street and you know towns work that way. Cleanliness can be improved on tables and in the handwash area, but i wouldn't say its bad, They can set their own standard. Last, i enquired and it seems to be a very popular hotel too. Keerai is a offered in many hotels at Gudiyattam. I usually rate 5 to the best and here it goes to Andal Mess:-)
