Annapoorna Restaurant, Coimbatore - South Indian Bliss! One of my all-time favourite South Indian restaurants! Tried their Annapoorna Special Masala Dosa, and it was absolutely lit -- crispy, flavourful, and perfectly done. The coconut and pudhina chutneys were super fresh and tasty. Ended the meal with their signature filter coffee, which was smooth, aromatic, and the perfect finish. A true Coimbatore classic -- authentic taste, quick service, and pure South Indian comfort!
Had a great experience at Tamil Nadu Hotel! The food was really good and the meal was flavorful and felt authentic. The lunch meal thali was especially awesome, with a nice variety of dishes. Service was quick, and the overall atmosphere was pleasant. Definitely worth a visit for a satisfying meal.
Just like any other Annapoorna, the food quality and taste are great. The place has been recently renovated with better tables, chairs and centralized air conditioning. So, they have increased the pricing for items a bit. The ambiance now looks great. The customer service has been good as usual. In peak hours, you might need to wait to get a seat. Other than food, they also have a huge variety of in-house made sweets and savouries. Additional to hot beverages, cold beverages are also available. Parking paid and is inside Lakshmi Complex. Overall experience was good. Highly recommended.
My experience here was very disappointing, specifically regarding the food and pricing. I ordered the special paneer masala dosa, which was priced as a premium item but was far too small in size. The quantity and quality do not justify the price. Based on this, I feel there is no fair quantity on food for the pricing here. Do not buy from the special category menu if you visit.
If you are going on Sunday bear with the time. It will take 20 minutes to get dosa. Also they have lake of servers. Cost is bit high but the taste is good. Always busy on weekends.
