I ordered a chicken biryani and was quite satisfied overall. The taste was good -- not the best I've had, but still enjoyable. What pleasantly surprised me was that it came along with a portion of chicken fry and a Kesari dessert, which was a nice touch. The extra items added value to the meal. I'd consider ordering again!
This old hotel has been a trusted stopover between Nagercoil and Marthandam for many years, known for its 24/7 food service a rare and appreciated convenience. The pricing is reasonable, not the cheapest, but fair enough to keep us coming back. During our recent visit, the mint lime juice stood out as excellent, though the tea was a bit of a letdown. The kids enjoyed the noodles, and the grilled chicken was quite good. Overall, the food quality remains satisfying. The ambience hasn't changed much in the last 30 years, it has a nostalgic charm but could really benefit from an upgrade. Still, it's a dependable place for a quick meal on the go.
Nowadays this hotel has a bad experience. Last week as a family we had parotta and beef fry. We had a family meal at this restaurant last week. Their food quality shocked us. They cook food with a lot of colored powder. And it was left in pieces without being properly mixed. When I complained about this to the management, they did not give a proper reply.
We found this restaurant while going to Nagarcoil from Trivandrum to have breakfast and to our dismay, this was one of the best breakfast spot that i ve visited recently. They have a brilliant beef curry that goes well with idiyappam( string hoppers), porotta or dosa. The beef fry too was good. I ve eaten their biryani once and the long grain rice biryani with generous quantity of beef will be on my list of good biryanis. Highly recommended spot.
Loved the place. It's there for a very long time. Variety of foods and prepared instantly and served. Decent parking, though restricted. On the highway and near the traffic signal only.
