Tirupur Sree Annapoorna

This a good stop if you are travelling from Coimbatore towards Bangalore. The atmosphere is good and they maintain cleanliness including the toilets and the place is much better compared to many other places on the same strech. They have enough space to accommodate large crowds. Food is good if not great and the pricing is fair. The only thing I suggest them to work onis the service which takes time. They have their own parking and enough parking space.

On the way from Mettupalayam to Chennai, we stopped here at 3 pm for a late lunch. Ordered tomato rice, sambar rice, veg biriyani and coffee. The quantity was enough, taste was good and prices were reasonable. The restaurant is big and spacious and was almost empty when we visited. There are interesting snacks kept on shelves for purchase along with other items like podis, local varieties of rice, dals etc. Attractive sweets and dry fruits are displayed on the counter. The waiters were attentive and served well. Washrooms were clean, parking space was ample. I would love to visit again. There is a shop belonging to the hotel just outside that sells attractive candies, toys and trinkets.

Sree Annapoorna in Avinashi is a convenient spot on the highway, especially for travelers and those stopping by to charge their EVs nearby. The place is well maintained. It's an ideal stop for a meal or snack during the day. However, the main drawback is that the restaurant closes at night. Since it's located on the highway and right next to a charging station, it would be a huge benefit for travelers if they stayed open late or round the clock. Night-time travelers, especially EV users, often look for a clean and reliable place to eat while waiting for their vehicle to charge. If they can extend their timings into the night, Sree Annapoorna would be an even better stop for people on long journeys.

Pur veg restaurant. I had rava dosa and sambar sadam here. Taste wise good. But staffs are little unresponsive when we call for next order. Very slow and lethargically attending customers. Should improve customer service. Restrooms located outside the restaurant. Restrooms are not clean and ok kind of maintenance. Parking is but difficult for four wheelers. Located in Avinashi NH road to service road cut junction. So always be careful while crossing the service road to reach the restaurant. Overall had a decent lunch. Good restaurant for veg option.

We have always been regular customers of Annapoorna Hotels and usually enjoy their food and service. However, our recent experience at the branch on the highways near Tirupur was quite disappointing. We stopped by for lunch, and as usual, the staff took down our names before serving. When we politely asked if the hall upstairs was air-conditioned, the staff member responded with an attitude as if he was some district collector signing an important contract! The way he spoke was unnecessarily rude and dismissive, which was very irritating, especially for regular customers like us who have always chosen Annapoorna for its hospitality and consistency. A simple question didn't deserve that kind of response. Hope the management looks into their staff's behavior and ensures customers are treated with respect in the future.
