Good place for food. I tried breakfast here. Breakfast will be available from 7 am onwards. All items are good and the rate is also nominal. They give 3-4 types of chutneys which was awesome. Must try. Within few meters from the Highway. Ample parking space available. Also, it has a juice shop beside.
Usual stop when travelling via karur Coimbatore ... Good shop to stop by quick snack for me .. haven't tried food items here.. sweets n other snacks were actually good.. price is affordable
Doesn't look like a highway hotel as service is very slow during dinner time on a Sunday. They just have one person to take order for 8 tables and what ever you order they say it will take time to convince us to have normal dinner like dosa, idli or chapathi. Even you ask for bun porota they tell you to wait 25mins. The entire AC room look heated because all the customer will be frustrated due to poor service. And if you go as a family each one gets their food at different time intervals and other has to watch and wait.
Located alongside the wide highway to Coimbatore city, the Kongu Mess is having restaurant, shopping mall, vegetable & fruits outlet, bakery and a mini hall suitable for marriages & other spl events. There is ample parking space & accommodation facilities. The campus is generally neat. Staff behaviour is satisfactory. They do not beg for tips as seen in most of the other restaurants. Nevertheless, the rate of eateries & drinks is a bit high, so that average & middle income group of customers are apt to think twice before visiting this Hotel for a second time.
There was a huge space for parking. Food variety was less. We ordered Parota, Mushroom briyanii, plain briyani, pepper paneer, chetinad chicken and pepper chicken. All were awsome and taste was soo good. Must visit shop in karur. Kongu mess famous for parota and salna .
