At Ambur, on the Chennai-Bangalore highway, just after crossing the junction is this placid outlet called Time Food Garden Restaurant. The ambience is a bit beaten but the food kind of makes it up. There were no table menu cards but one listed on a board. Although displayed as a vegetarian outlet, poultry would be available for dinner. Lunch menu is limited, but what you get arrives piping hot at your table. They have a few grape vines that forms a canopy over the garden and they're bearing fruits is a first I've seen in any restaurant. Pricing is apt and service is indulgent.
