Taking a Break in the Hills of Sikkim Holidays are truly essential in life. While earning a living takes up most of our time, it's equally important to pause, unwind, and recharge. That's exactly why I headed to the serene mountains of Sikkim. One of our evenings found us strolling down the iconic Mall Road in Gangtok, soaking in the chilly mountain air and relaxed vibes. As dinnertime rolled in, we decided to check out Sher-e-Punjab. The ambiance was decent, with ample space to sit and enjoy a quiet meal. We started with tandoori chicken--it was just okay, not quite the burst of flavor we hoped for. For the main course, we ordered mutton masala and chicken bharta, paired with butter naan. The mutton masala was a letdown in terms of flavor, but the chicken bharta redeemed the meal a bit with its richer taste. All in all, it was a mixed dining experience, but the mountain charm more than made up for it.
