Firstly we had only veg thali and veg biryani while on our way back from Abu road to bandra we ordered veg biryani worst food ever it was dry and flavorless very very bad ate half as I didn't have another option thrashed the rest worst worst worst total waste of money
The quality of food here is approximately same as any other IRCTC service outlet. The only benefit here is the service is fast and you get mostly fresh prepared food here. Packaging is same you'll see in any other IRCTC packing. You can consider other options nearby but I give them the credit that provide good food in relatively low price.
The food was average. However, the train vendors who sells charges more than the actual rate of the food. One thali according to irctc menu is not more than 50 rupees, but the vendors sell them at 120. Also, when asked for menu they give us some other menu designed for themseleves and not the irctc menu. This is really disappointing.
The worst food and service approach. Costing is too high for wate based curry. Food was served by M/S Krishna caterers with the worst quality. There is no point of contact to complain. The response from waiters are like ' yahi milega 130 mei'.
Ordered paw-bhaji and I would say it was a sort of bhaji, a bit disappointed because it was really very oily and they also did nit provide spoons and tissues along. But above all it had a nice taste.
