Deepak Dhaba

Friendly service. We stopped on our way home from the Dehli airport. My husband bought a cake from a little fridge they had. They wrote in icing on wafer cookies. I was able to pick up some snacks for the road. One side is a shop with lots of nick nacks and a great place for souvenirs. The other side is where they have fresh food, snacks, cold drinks and candy. UPDATE: OCTOBER 2025 We stopped again today on our way TO the Delhi airport. I bought a few souvenirs, snacks and drank a cold coffee. The restaurants tables are clean and kept well stocked with a water jug, napkins, chili peppers and chutney. We sat in the outdoor seating area. They also have indoor seating as well. A wide Veg and Non-Veg menu. Restrooms were clean and easily accessible. They have tissue paper upon request. They have a bathroom attendant in the ladies restroom constantly cleaning and offering tissues. They have both Indian style toilets as well as American style toilets. Indian style toilets are to the right of the entrance and the American style are towards the left. I love the large selections of snacks, cookies, candy both pre packaged and in made in store, nuts, fresh pastries and cakes. Overall experience was 10/10. We will be stopping again when we visit next year.

When I returned home from Ludhiana to Budhlada, it was already noon, both my parents were with me. I thought it would take a long time to go home and it was already lunch time, so I thought today's lunch should be done at Deepak Dhaba. We ordered Punjabi's favorite dal makhni with mixed vegetables and tandoori rotis. The dal and vegetables were very tasty. There were not many spices, the vegetables were prepared in a simple way. My parents also liked the food very much. My heart was happy after eating at Deepak Dhaba today.

Good and rich food with lots of butter in everything. Was recommended to us and we did not regret stopping there on the way. It's quite big with good jumber of food options. It's not a dhaba but a restaurant with fast moving food. Food was delicious without any doubt. Carries pubjabi culture in each and every item. Pindi chole could not match Amritsar's take but we're not bad. Garlic naan had insane amount of butter. So you have to tell them beforehand if you're not a big fan of butter. Gulab Jamun was BIGGG and yummy. Especially when it's cold and foggy/rainy outside, it feels like heaven. Tea pot was on the burner continuously and they did not disappoint with tea. Overall, the place is not for you if you're looking for some light and quick food. Looking for some glimpse of rich punjabi food, definitely worth a visit.

Food is nice, but was better some years ago. Service is maintained by the staff from the beginning till date. Sometimes it's rushy, you could be made to wait for some time.
