I have visited a gem of Breakfast eateries in Berhampur- The food capital of odisha-- Shanti Coffee Bhawan, a 60-year-old iconic eatery tucked away in the heart of Berhampur. This place truly lives up to its legacy. I tried their Rawa Dosa, Puri with Onion patato Curry, Chutney, and Upma, and every item was bursting with traditional South Odia flavors. The Rawa Dosa was crisp and perfectly golden, served hot and fresh. The Puris were fluffy and light, paired beautifully with the mildly spiced, comforting onion patato curry -- a classic combo done right. The Upma was soft, well-cooked, and had that old-school touch, while the chutney added a refreshing zing to the meal. What makes this place special is not just the food, but the authentic ambiance that reminds me of simpler older times. It's clear why this spot has stood the test of time. I must recommend this place to everyone who wants to taste the authentic south odia breakfast at least once in a life time

It's one of the oldest cafes in berhampur. Very simple and limited menu. A small place but a lot of memories. It's a generational legacy where my father used to go with my grandfather and when I visit my father takes me there. Off late I started liking the food as it's very simple and not much spicy. And most importantly they avoid ajinomoto ( china salt) , food colour and vinegar in their making. So I must recommend it. Only one scope of improvement is the cleanliness of the overall place. It seems like no one cares about it.

I never knew such old hotel like this is existed in berhampur. Recently, I explored this hotel. You may not get the bestest ambience here, but definitely it has peaceful yet nostalgic environment...so period. You will get good breakfasts here. People who serve, they might not the profrsionals like a big restaurant but they are polite and they know well how to treat people that's what matters at the end of the day. Do, visit for a peaceful time with breakfast or evening snacks.
