Hi Lakshmi, my apologies for the late response. Here is my review of the wonderful authentic south Indian lunch experience you gave us the other day. Having lived in Mumbai for more than a decade, I have been used to eating south Indian food in commercial places which these days have a blend with other cultural cuisines. But the lunch at your place felt like a typical celebratory meal at home with banana leaf and the choice of dishes brought back the wonderful memories of being fed by my mom. The taste was original and since it was prepared in a simple kitchen made the taste and whole experience more authentic and personal. It was also unusual that we had it at your home and thank you so much for the invite. We look forward to another great meal at your place. Take care and all the very best with your new endeavour.

I came across Lakshmi's Kitchen while searching for South Indian tiffin services in Thane. Have enjoyed the food variety and taste in the last 15days. Food is delivered on time, with careful packing and labels on each pack to identify contents. Be it South or North Indian or Maharashtra cuisine, I have started looking forward to opening the pack every day and the surprises it holds for my tummy! And the best part is, they are so open to feedback and takes it positively, with no attempt to justify the food preparation they used. I came across lakshmis kitchen while surfing FB. I am fan of authentic south Indian food and i thought of giving try. I ordered breakfast and belive it i got the authentic south indian food which i get at Saravana Bhavan Chennai. In top of it it was hygenically packed and quantity was very good. I suggest if you have taste bud for authentic south indian taste with hygenic preparation then do not miss to give try.

I ordered idli sambhar and chutney..Must say the taste reminds you of authentic south Indian home food.. Sambhar and chutney is perfect in taste, flavours , texture and thickness. Idli was super soft and fluffy the way it should be be. Delivery was on time. Will order again.
