Hotel Silver Palm offers an extensive and impressive menu that features a wide range of vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes. The specialty here clearly lies in their mutton and chicken preparations, especially traditional Maharashtrian and spicy Kolhapuri styles. From Maratha Chicken, Savji Mutton, Gawran Chicken Handi, to Mutton Roghan Josh, they have plenty of options to satisfy meat lovers. The Silver Palm Special Mutton Thali stands out as the absolute winner. The mutton in the thali is perfectly cooked with rich spices and balanced flavors, while the pandhara rassa deserves a special mention for its authentic taste and smooth texture. It adds an incredible depth to the meal and leaves a satisfying aftertaste. Anyone who loves traditional Maharashtrian gravies will enjoy this combination. The vegetarian dishes, however, are not up to the mark. Although the menu promises a long list of Veg Kolhapuri, Veg Handi, Veg Jalfrezi, Paneer dishes, mushroom varieties, and more, the taste seems ordinary and lacks the richness expected from a restaurant with such a wide variety. There is clearly room for improvement in seasoning and consistency for the veg offerings. Apart from main courses, the restaurant also offers biryanis, rice varieties, noodles, starters like Chicken 65 and Chicken Crispy, along with seafood such as Surmai Fry, Prawns Koliwada, and Mandeli Fry. They also serve refreshing beverages like solkadi, lassi, fresh lime water, and cold coffee which pair well with spicy meals. The thali options for fish, chicken, egg, and veg provide good variety for different preferences. The service is nice, and the staff is polite, ensuring that food arrives on time. The location is good and easy to access, making it convenient for families and groups. Overall, Hotel Silver Palm is a satisfying spot mainly for non-veg lovers. My rating is 3 out of 5, mainly because vegetarians might not find the food as appealing, but the mutton thali makes the visit absolutely worthwhile for those who enjoy non-veg cuisine.
